Rubbing against the body is prevented through a later hinge arm. From 0 to 120 degrees is where the flexion settings are set and the extension setting are from 0 to 90 degrees and it is changeable to five degree increments. Circumferential support is offered through the plastic humeral and forearm cuffs.
