NecLoc Kids is the sole pediatric extrication collar that has been endorsed by the Broselow-Luten Color Coding Kids Hospital System. It is made to fit the anatomies of children 12 years old and below. The collar is used to immobilize children in cases of emergency transport as well as routine care.
The collar meets children's developing anatomical requirements. It immobilizes the c-spine and promotes proper alignment of the airway. It has an ergonomic design with two pieces clamshell and a retaining strap that makes it easy to apply. There are 4 Broselow-Luten Color-Coded pediatric sizes available. The collar is also x-ray, CT, and MRI transparent.
