Coronary stents

Coronary stents –metal mesh tubes which are placed in the coronary arteries in order to keep the arteries open during the treatment of coronary heart disease. These stents reduce chest pain and can improve survivability in the event of an acute myocardial infarction. Used in Cardiology.
