The secret of our success throughout our long history has also been the ability to recognize changes and trends in the healthcare markets early and to integrate them proactively with our business activities.
The foundation is formed by two well-known businesses with long traditions: the German company Lohmann Medical (founded in 1851) and the Austrian firm Rauscher (founded in 1899). The successful merger to form L&R took place in 1998. It gave rise to the high-performing international L&R Group with functioning HQs at the sites in Rengsdorf (Germany) and Vienna (Austria). As a globally active and networked company we successfully hold our ground against the international competition every day and continue to expand internationally.
